ALNAS Story
Al-Nas Children's Hospital is an Egyptian children's hospital for free pediatric cardiac care. Owned by the Al-Joud Charitable Foundation, it is located in Shubra El-Kheima, Qalyubia Governorate, Egypt. Covering an area of ​​30,000 square meters, it is considered the largest pediatric cardiac hospital in Egypt and the Middle East, with a capacity of approximately 600 beds in 2024, including ten operating rooms, 140 intensive care units, four cardiac catheterization units, and 48 outpatient clinics. Established in 2015 and inaugurated in 2019, the hospital has received more than 27,000 patients since its opening in August 2023, providing approximately 506,000 medical services and performing more than 7,000 surgeries. As the first institutional hospital in the country, Al-Nas Charitable Hospital for free cardiac, digestive, and diabetes care is considered the largest medical center of excellence in the Arab region and Africa by capacity. It is also one of the most important non-profit charitable hospitals, providing its services free of charge to all Egyptians.
