Mall of Oman is LEED Platinum rated (USGBC) making it the largest building in Oman and the country’s first major retail project to obtain this prestigious accreditation. This project has many proven ecological benefits and has the interests of the community at its core. The sustainability implementation plan went above and beyond to not only secure the LEED Platinum rating, but ensuring the health and wellbeing of the local community and those who will visit the asset.
The project was fully developed in BIM, ensuring design coordination and assisting with the procurement process.
BIM Scope of Service
Scope of work consist of a mall located at Bawshar, Muscat, Oman. The mall will feature 350 outlets in a 137000 square meters retail space, a snow park with 8,000 square meters play area making it Oman’s flagship destination for retail, leisure, little explorers edutainment center, installation of elevators, safety and security systems, food courts and entertainment.
