The late businessman Khamis Asfour, the businessman who owned the “Asfour Crystal” chain, is the original donor who established the hospital.

The hospital was built by by the Asfour Foundation at the initiative of Mr. Khamis Asfour, may God have mercy on him in Shubra El Kheima, but its completion was delayed as a result of the circumstances that occurred in 2011, noting that its construction was completed in 2015.

The hospital was built on an area of 30,000 square meters , it was agreed with the Al-Joud Charitable Foundation to manage and operate the People’s Children’s Hospital in a charitable, non-profit manner and to provide treatment 100% free.
